Our Mission
No fluff, no fake scores designed to push whatever pays the highest commission. We give people the clearest possible picture of what each platform actually does, what it costs in practice (including the hidden stuff), and who it is realistically for. Adults make their own choices — our job is to make sure those choices are informed ones.
How We Review
Every platform gets hands-on testing before it gets a score. Here is exactly what that looks like:
Account Creation & Onboarding
We sign up as a real new user — no press accounts, no special access. Dark patterns and misleading flows get flagged immediately.
Free Tier Evaluation
We test every free plan as a normal user would. If the free tier is basically unusable, we say so.
Paid Plan Testing
We subscribe at the most relevant paid tier for a minimum of 7 days. For token systems we track actual spend over a real usage period.
8-Dimension Scoring
Conversation quality, image generation, video generation, memory system, pricing & value, user experience, NSFW quality, and voice quality. Each scored 0–10 from direct testing — not spec sheets.
Privacy & Billing Check
We verify billing descriptions, cancellation flows, data policies and encryption claims. Hidden fees are automatic score penalties.
Ongoing Updates
Platforms change. We revisit reviews when significant updates ship. Every review shows its last updated date.
Affiliate Disclosure
AIGirlfriendsCompare participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click certain links and sign up, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our scores or rankings. We have declined affiliate arrangements with platforms that did not meet our quality bar, and given low scores to platforms we do have relationships with when testing warranted it.
